Description:
"We have not ended racial caste in America; we have merely redesigned it," claims lawyer and author Michelle Alexander. In this course, we will examine the arguments and data Alexander presents to defend her thesis that our current criminal "justice" system is an oppressive reality that is played out in a mighty human drama with important consequences for African-Americans and for our entire society.
